Feed mind, body and spirit by connecting with the natural world.

This walk takes you on a Journey of discovery through the Suffolk town of Halesworth. It will give guests a window into the world of foraging through finding, feasting on a whole host of wild edibles found in our British hedgerows and wild spaces.

The walk will guide through a variety of habitats in the Halesworth area to look at the wild foods that can found in each one. We will touch on the what, where, how and when of each species to give you a safe and sustainable way of foraging in your local area. You will shown the choicest of flavours.

Guests will then be encouraged to select and forage wild herbs and edibles which will be taken to our designated picnic area where we will process and cook our wild food feast. (some elements will be pre prepared)

Wild Picnic Menu:

Watercress and garlic soup with sourdough topped with nettle pesto

Hogweed bhaji served with herb salad

Blackberry and elderberry cocktail or elderflower champagne

St George’s mushroom pastry pie

Rhubarb and sweet cicely & rose hip dessert
